Project Description

The Client is seeking proposals for the baseline and end line study for drug prevention campaign in six districts of KPK Province of Pakistan.  UNODC in collaboration with the Ministry of Narcotics Control and Pakistan Bureau of Statistics carried out a survey on drug use in Pakistan.  Both organizations launched a drugs prevention campaign for selected cities of KPK. The cities include Peshawar, Mardan, Nowshera, Kohat, Charsada, and Abbottabad.

Services provided by APEX

APEX conduct a pre intervention survey in the six target cities to obtain a baseline of knowledge, attitude and practices to various population groups including general public, youth, parents, teachers, women, religious leaders etc.  at the completion of the campaign a post intervention survey will be carried out with the same population to assess the impact of the campaign in raising their knowledge and information about harmful effects of drugs and ways to prevent drug use.
