Abdul Hameed is a trained anthropologist and statistician with command over both quantitative and qualitative research techniques, backed by more than 20 years of field research experience. Proficient in all areas of research including sampling design, field instruments development, field work management and data collection, he has worked with research organizations such as Rural Support Program Network, Population Council and the University of California Berkeley. He worked as team supervisor for Multiple Indicator Clusters Survey and acted as Area Coordinator for the Poverty Scorecard Rollout funded by the World Bank. Abdul Hameed has participated in research workshops and forums in Geneva, Switzerland and at the Center for Development and Population Activities in Washington, DC.
