A task-oriented and result-driven professional with 10 years of hands-on experience in Monitoring & Evaluation, Community Development, Capacity Building, and Research with various National & International Organizations coupled with a Master's Degree in Political Science & Project Management. As a part of the APEX provincial team, he is presently monitoring the National Nutrition Survey in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for UNICEF.
Earlier, Mr. Khalid had served as a Provincial Monitoring Coordinator (KP) in a Third-Party Monitoring venture of UNICEF and supervised 29 broad range projects of UNICEF's 14 partner organizations in the Education, Nutrition, Health & Child Protection sectors in KPK, monitored WFP supported food for work projects, implemented projects of school's construction and teacher's capacity building with FRD-UNHCR, supervised development projects of infrastructure, livelihood, and DRR with FATA Secretariat Special Programme. Along with a solid background in monitoring and implementation, Mr. Khalid has also researched and conducted demographic surveys in various sectors with organizations of repute like GIZ, USAID, BHC, and FATA Institutional Strengthening Projects, etc.
During his pursuit, along with the development of various manuals and modules, he has alose developed online monitoring tools for ensuring real-time monitoring with accurate and timely data analysis. Moreover, Khalid has ample experience of coordination with Government Authorities and other Organizations with full cognizance of the environment and comprehensive knowledge of the political situation, strong linkages development with community leaders, government officials, and close liaison with print and electronic media for the smooth operation of the programme.
