Project Description

World Vision Pakistan has been strenuously working on child protection issues since the earthquake of 2005. After the successful implementation of the Manazil (pilot) in Pirwadai (Rawalpindi) intended to replicate the same approach in Kasur district with the working children (tanneries workers, embroidery worker, automobile worker. domestic worker; field worker, and child working in shoe factories. including both boys and girls).

Services provided by APEX

The services provided by the firm included data collection (both qualitative and quantitative) and data entry for the baseline. APEX conducted detailed 302 household interviews in Kasur, 06 Key Informant Interviews (KII), and 21 Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with the beneficiaries based on the tools prepared in consultation with international consultants. Data editing was done by professional researchers and data was entered in the Census Survey Program (CSPro). After data entry frequency tables were generated for cleaning, data analysis was done using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), and clean dataset was submitted to the client as an end product.
